Data Warehouse Security Introduction
Several of the areas of User-Based Security are now populated in the data warehouse (often known as the Logos_DW database). In the 2019.1 version forward, this database may be named something similar to ERPDATABASENAME_ENVIRONMENTNAME_DSS. A data warehouse is typically populated nightly by a batch process. As such, the data inside of the warehouse can be up to 24 hours old.
Note: You need to be licensed to DSS to utilize these guides.
The guides will demonstrate how to connect to the SQL database via Excel and build a pivot table off of the security data to provide filtering, etc. To utilize this functionality, you will need an account with read access to the DSS database described above. We hope you enjoy the guides!
